last weekend spencer and i were feeling especially summer spirited,
so we took off to santa monica pier (yet again) to go to the circus.
the bang to this story is you not only get that excitement, but you're also
right on the beach which is a win-win turley situation!

we ate funnel cake for the first time and rode a ferris wheel (see here).
it reminded me of summers growing up in idaho and going to
the county fairs to see all your friends and take some weird rides.
summer, to me, is when the sun doesn't go down until almost 9 pm.
i've traded in my adolescence of fresh fields and mountains
for miles of ocean and billions of grainy sands.
either way, the feeling summer invites is freedom.
