spence and i just got back from the dream trip of a lifetime.
we said our farewells to summer cruising the pacific coast highway
camping in a VW bus and stopping whenever and wherever we pleased.
this was the journey of summer. one that begs to be told over and over again.
we ventured north through morro bay and into big sur.
these places are something only dreams are made up of -
foggy mists, jagged bluffs jutting into the sea, crisp air,
coastline for days and peaks so high you wake in the clouds.
it's our farewell to summer - our transition into fall.
we are ready for the next season.

ReplyDeletei am so jealous of your vw. boyfriend and i want one so bad. we would love to be able to do that to... we do that here, but don't that that far enough. love, love this. hope we get to do this before we start having kids! eeeks. though if we did, you bet they'll be right beside us! :) you two are so awesome! <3

Deletelove this! some people tend to envy me due to where i live (florida's west coast), because of the beaches and the warm weather, but i would trade all this in a second to be amongst hills, mountains and forests. it would be a dream. enjoy it as much as you can and i'm going to live vicariously trough you :)

i love your photos! do you happen to use VSCO film? i am thinking of buying the new 02 film pack, but would love your opinion :)
ReplyDeletethank you talia! for the longest time i just did all my "film effect" editing on my own by playing with levels fill and exposure in photoshop and lightroom, but i did JUST buy VSCO as seen in this post... literally, yesterday haha. it is awesome and i LOVE it! highly recommend! not too pricey, either. i'm happy with it and love the iPhone app too.
Deletewell you do a great job creating the effect yourself! having followed your blog here and there since christmas it look like the VSCO film effects. did you get the 01 pack? i can't decide which one i want to get first :)
Deletewell thank you!!! i guess you can do the film effects yourself pretty well, then if i was getting by haha ;) but i got the 02 pack - i didn't really look much into it just knew that i wanted the most recent.
