eating over the flame and sleeping under the stars as the coals die down.
dirt under your nails after only a few short hours and messy hair.
roasting s'mores and playing with pocket knives.
exploring nature and soaking in the golden hour.
quiet. still. solitude shared only by those who understand.
i think they call it peace.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous imagery! That last lines of your blog post gave me chills... I completely agree. I have been literally CRAVING nature. I want to be there among the trees too. Camping. Just me, my husband, dog and a tent. A fire roaring and cooking marshmallows. Enjoying the clean air and sounds like critters and bugs... LOVE LOVE.
